Das Pulp-Magazin „Golden Fleece“

Im Oktober 1939 startete der Verlag Sun Publications das Pulp-Magazin „GOLDEN FLEECE“, das auf die Veröffentlichung historischer Kurzgeschichten und Novellen spezialisiert war.

Im Magazin erschienen unter anderem Geschichten von Robert E. Howard, Talbot Mundy, H. Bedford-Jones, Ralph Milne Farley, Anthony M. Rud und Murray Leinster.

Zu den mitwirkenden Künstlern gehörten Jay Jackson, Harold Delay, Harold McCauley sowie Margaret Brundage, die zwei Titelbilder für „GOLDEN FLEECE“ zeichnete.

Sun Publications war jedoch nur ein kleines Unternehmen mit Sitz in Chicago, das vermutlich aufgrund Vertriebsschwierigkeiten das Pulp-Magazin „GOLDEN FLEECE“ im Juni 1939 wieder einstellen musste.
